Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
• Perform treatment simulations
• Fabricate all necessary shielding blocks
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments
• Perform quality control and assurance tests
• Ensure proper infection control techniques
• Adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices
• Reflect facility philosophy, goals, objectives and standards in all activities
• Follow nationally accepted standards of practice
• Provide quality patient care
• Maintain environmental safety
• Support inter-disciplinary cooperation
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
• Adhere to strict attendance policy with maximum 3 absences or late arrivals (over 20 minutes)
• Work with Varian and ARIA systems
• Utilize TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy systems as needed
• Maintain current ARRT (T) certification
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
