Ghostlight Ensemble is seeking a Sound Designer for its fall production of Angry Fags by Topher Payne. Production Overview: An out lesbian state senator is up for re-election. Her opponent is a moderate conservative aligned with right-wing extremists. The race is tight, and events can become politicized quickly. When a gay man is assaulted and left to die, his ex-boyfriend, a campaign aide, becomes enraged. His boss’s reluctance to label the incident as a hate crime pushes him over the edge. Frustration turns to rage, leading him and his best friend to seek revenge, believing that fear might achieve what politics cannot. Key Dates: The Sound Designer will participate in virtual meetings, in-person designer run, tech week, and strike, with dates confirmed based on cast and production team availability.
