Role Overview As a key member of the Pension Risk Transfer Operations team, this role involves executing analytical and transactional functions across multiple product lines and recordkeeping systems. Responsibilities include calculating and processing financial and non-financial transactions with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and quality control. Core Responsibilities Perform complex manual and automated calculations, transactions, and handle exceptions/escalations. Ensure transactions are processed correctly, resolve NIGO issues, and communicate with stakeholders. Analyze client and annuitant data, plan provisions, and forms for compliance and accuracy. Respond to service requests and research inquiries. Identify NIGO trends and suggest workflow and documentation improvements. Maintain high accuracy to mitigate financial risks. Provide guidance and coaching to team members as a subject matter expert. Support continuous improvement initiatives and divisional projects. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED/HiSET. 3+ years’ experience interpreting Defined Benefit and/or Pension Risk Transfer plan provisions and contracts. 3+ years’ experience performing pension benefit calculations for various transactions. Preferred Qualifications Ability to apply PRT industry knowledge and critical thinking. 5+ years’ experience interpreting PRT plan provisions and contracts. Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate complex benefits clearly. Understanding of regulatory impacts on calculations and processes. Support plan amendments, compliance, and transition processes. Perform research and analysis to support operations and suggest improvements. Oversee work of less experienced peers.
