Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level P107 Drone Pilot to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our drones for various client missions, all conducted from a remote flight center. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly certified pilot to gain hands-on experience in the cutting-edge field of BVLOS drone operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and procedures in accordance with company and FAA regulations.
· Operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in a safe and professional manner from a remote ground control station.
· Monitor and interpret data from various sensors and systems during flight operations.
· Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
· Assist with mission planning, including reviewing airspace, weather conditions, and operational requirements.
· Maintain accurate and detailed flight logs and records.
· Collaborate with other pilots and team members to ensure successful mission execution.
· Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with evolving drone technology and regulations.
Qualifications:
· Must hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
· Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
· Must be in a physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone.
· Strong understanding of FAA regulations, particularly those related to drone operations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
· Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly.
Preferred, But Not Required:
· Experience with various drone platforms and flight control software.
· A background or interest in aviation, technology, or a related field.
· Familiarity with BVLOS operations and the associated technologies and regulations
