The Epic Application Analyst II will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical applications used within the healthcare organization. This role involves working closely with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to optimize clinical applications for usability and efficiency, ensuring they meet the needs of clinicians and patients. Responsibilities Implement, configure, and maintain Epic and other clinical applications, including EHR, clinical decision support systems, and other clinical software. Collaborate with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to improve clinical workflows using technology. Participate in system testing and validation to meet regulatory requirements and user needs. Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Assist in testing and validation of Epic software upgrades and enhancements. Monitor and troubleshoot issues with clinical applications, providing timely resolutions. Stay updated on solutions within the Epic System and other clinical applications. Work with operational and medical staff leaders on strategic initiatives. Participate in all phases of the system development life cycle, including use case development and software evaluation. Engage in clinical and business end-user rounding in collaboration with staff. Qualifications Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience, or Associates with 2 years, or 3 years of healthcare or IT experience. Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology. Epic Certification required (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, Radiant, Cupid, etc.). Occasional travel may be required. Experience in verbal and written communication to diverse audiences. Knowledge of clinical workflows and supporting clinical software applications. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing preferred.
